TALKING COMPUTERS
I do have to tell everybody about our adventure in finding organizers for the Gates'. I was over at John's talking computers with him, and Tara called. She said that I had to leave right away and we had to run over to the store and get an organizer. Why? Because it was the last one. Well, I raced next door and we left right away. We turned onto Maple Street and there was a long freight train. The train was hardly moving. Then it stopped moving all together. Tara called the store and pleaded with the saleswoman to hold the organizer, that we were caught by a freight train. The saleswoman promised that she would hold it for us. We finally made a U turn and tried to go the other way on Maple Street. We made some progress but were stopped in our tracks by a group of protesters. What they were protesting we didn't know. They were holding up signs and singing and chanting. One young girl was lying in the street and blocking traffic. Tara got really upset when I said that I could drive over the protester so we could get the organizer. I was just kidding, of course. Really. But we finally got to the store.
