Well, my day didn't start off too well but luckily things got better as the day progressed. My boyfriend called to ask why I wasn't at the coffee shop. I was half asleep and asked what he was talking about. Then I remembered that today was Friday and I had told him I would meet him there so we could talk for a little while and then I would go with him to pick up some free diabetic supplies from his physician. I was so disoriented because it was already the weekend in my dream! I could tell he was a little upset at first, but then I explained what happened and he had to admit he thought it was pretty funny. He told me he was just relieved I didn't forget altogether, otherwise he really would've been out of luck. All his friends are working today, his car is still in the shop and the buses don't run near his doctor's office. He told me he was starting to get worried about me since I normally show up everywhere on time. I felt really bad that I'd kept him waiting for about forty five minutes so I offered to make it up to him somehow. After picking up the supplies, I surprised him by treating him to lunch at his favorite restaurant and then I suggested we spend the rest of the day watching some movies. One of the films we picked up was a documentary about dreams which was undoubtedly inspired by what happened this morning!
