HAVING THE RIGHT MONITOR

Do you know how do you get the blood into the glucose-monitoring machine? You need testing strips, which are inserted into the machine. These strips are reacting to the sugar that is in your blood. This means adding a tiny drop of blood to the strip before inserting it into the monitor for a reading.  This must be done on a regular basis.  Diabetes two can actually be controlled to a certain extent by how well you follow your doctor’s advice.  You can be like the others who have shown that it is possible to monitor and control your disease if you are willing to make some changes in your life with regards to eating healthy and exercise. You will suffer fewer complications from your disease over time. But, you will only be able to do this if you are willing to monitor yourself, and know how to respond to those numbers shown on your monitor. The monitoring is so important that physicians are finding their borderline patients are benefiting from monitoring themselves on a regular basis and planning their exercise and lives accordingly. The monitor is the key to success with diabetes.  It is very important to always have a unit handy to test for your blood sugar levels as often as the physician has told you to.
